Letter from Matt Jordan
re: INSPECTION AND SMOKE TESTING of Sewer System

Hello,

My name is Matt Jordan I am in charge of the wastewater system around
Witmer , Westler , and the south west section Dallas lakes and also the Town
of Wolcottville.

I am gettig ready to start a INSPECTION AND SMOKE TESTING testing of the in
Town wastewater system . What I am asking of you is to see if you could put
something on your website and or your newsletters . And maybe bring it up at
your next lake meeting to let the people around the lake know that they
should
not have sump pumps hooked into there sanitary sewer system.

I know that there are some sump pumps that are hooked into the system
because of the large influx of water that we get when we have a small rain
event . I believe that a lot of people just dont know that they are not
suppose to have there sump pumps and in some cases there down spouts hooked
into the sanitary sewer. This is a problem that seems to get worse each year
. If we get an inch of rain our flows into the wastewater system at each
station around the lakes will double for a few days.

We are always trying to keep our cost to a minimum . The cost is the same to
treat a gallon of rain water as it is to treat a gallon of sewer water.  And
it is a lot of extra wear an tare on the whole wastewater system.   If any
one has any questions or concerns please call me at Cell # 260-499-1125. or
at the treatment plant # 260-854-3316

                                    Thank you very much
